The Salty Peanut Gallery

A new Nike commercial that ran last week on ESPN and the Golf Channel during Wednesday’s coverage of “The Masters Golf Tournament” has become remix fodder for a number of YouTube parodies. The original spot was controversial enough featuring a silent Tiger Woods gazing into the camera while the voice of his late father seems to scold the golfer from beyond the grave.

Creepy!

Many of the the spin off parodies from the Nike ad lean toward the raunchy and the inappropriate, but I got a chuckle out of this one featuring the voice of James Earl Jones from “The Lion King”.
